5 Reasons Why I Love Thanksgiving Break

1. Sleep. The time change and the longer nights are starting to get to me at this point. I need to spend more then a Saturday catching up on sleep. I always feel so refreshed going back to school.
2. It's the first point in the season where I finally get to start enjoying the fact that it is fall out. I spend time driving around and looking at the leaves, which is short lived because by the end of the break I'm driving around and enjoying the Christmas lights that have gone up.
3. FOOD! Who doesn't love the spread on Thanksgiving. My Aunt Laura makes an amazing salad that I look forward to. Not to mention it is the only holiday I don't feel guilty about eating and eating and well.....eathing.
4. Charlie Brown. Now I'm a huge fan of all the Charlie brown movies, but the Thanksgiving one is my favorite. The feast they always have makes me smile.
5. This is the one holiday that doesn't turn into a Hallmark holiday for me. Everyone can be thankful and enjoy spending time with family, friends and loved ones.
